Surfing on a wave of confort Pacific is a true JORI classic and the re-design has all the makings of a worthy successor. The comfortable, subtly sloping seating line has been retained. The same goes for the iconic foldable armrests that transform the sofa into a reclining chair or a two- into four-seater in the blink of an eye. New are the slender legs, the striking piping finish around the silhouette and a slightly rounder shape that refers even more clearly to the undulating waves of the ocean for which the original design was named. De comfortabele, subtiel hellende zitlijn werd behouden. Net als de iconi- sche, kantelbare armleggers. Die laatste transformeren in een oogwenk sofa tot ligzetel of 2-zit tot 4-zit. Nieuwe ele- menten zijn de fijne pootjes, de opvallende biesafwerking rondom de contouren en een afgeronde vorm die nog meer refereert naar de golf- slag van de oceaan waarnaar het originele ontwerp werd genoemd. Auf einer Welle von Komfort surfen Pacific ist ein echter JORI-Klassiker und die Neuauflage bringt alles mit, um es auch zu werden. Die bequeme, leicht geneigte Sitzfläche wurde ebenso wie die legendären, schwenkba- ren Armlehnen beibehalten. Letztere verwandeln das Sofa im Handumdrehen in eine Chaiselongue oder einen Zwei- bis Viersitzer. Neue Elemente sind die eleganten Füße, die auf- fallende Paspelierung rund um die Konturen und die abgerundete Form, die einen noch stärkeren Bezug zu den Wellen des Ozeans hat, nach dem das ursprüngliche Design benannt wurde. Le siège confortable et subtilement incliné a été conservé, de même que les emblématiques accoudoirs rabattables. Ces derniers permettent de transformer en un clin d’œil le fauteuil en chaise longue et le modèle deux places en canapé quatre places. Parmi les nou- veaux éléments, épinglons les fins pieds, le magnifique passepoil qui souligne les contours et la forme arrondie qui rappelle encore plus les vagues de l’océan qui a inspiré le modèle original.
