The Red Dot Design Award was founded in 1955 and is one of the largest and most significant product awards in the world. Over the course of the years, various JORI designs have achieved the award. 2008 was the turn of the Chillap, a design by Verhaert New Products & Services, in the Red Dot Design Award interior design category.
The Chillap quickly turns from a comfortable relaxing chair into a work chair space. The arm support becomes a small desk, allowing the seated person to work on his computer, read a book or drink a glass of wine and enjoy some tasty tapas.
